Nelson + Pope works with leading architects on high end private residential projects throughout Long Island. Projects typically feature new construction and renovation of houses in excess of 10,000 square feet, and associated out buildings on the client’s property. Building performance requirements for these demanding clients necessitates innovative designs, occupant comfort, and energy efficiency throughout. Designs generally include geothermal heat pumps, micro-cogeneration systems to reduce grid demand and operating costs of heating and cooling systems, energy ventilation recovery for indoor air quality, and solar power generation. N+P also designs all electrical distribution systems and domestic, sanitary, and fuel gas plumbing systems.
