• Daily observation of contractor’s operations
• Daily records and reports of work performed
• Detailed measurements of work quantities
• Review of shop drawings, change orders, RFIs, manufacturer certs, etc
• Evaluating contractor proposals for modifications or substitutions
• Preparation of punch lists
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills

Nelson + Pope looking is searching for a full-time CADD Drafter/Survey Technician in our Land Surveying department. Our clients are a wide range of public and private clientele i.e., NYS, NYC, Local Counties, Towns, Private developers, Contractors, Builders, homeowners, etc. The type of survey work includes boundary, topographic, hydrographic, drafting from point clouds, As builts and Construction layout, of all sizes and types. Office software includes the latest release AutoCAD Civil 3d, Carlson Survey, MicroStation, Trimble Business center, etc. Knowledge of older CADD versions are acceptable and will train on newer CADD release if candidates experience is sufficient.
