The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is Westchester’s premier provider for short term rehabilitation and long-term nursing. The facility is located on a lush and scenic campus in the town of Mount Pleasant and provides for a peaceful and tranquil setting to recuperate following a hospital stay.
Nelson + Pope prepared plans for a new electrical service and whole building generator for the Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The new electrical system was designed to correct deficiencies and establish an Essential Electrical System in accordance with the Health Care Facilities Code for life safety and critical care loads. N+P’s services included site investigations, an electrical load study for service sizing, generator sizing, and distribution, electrical plans, and diesel tank design and compliance. N+P also provided construction administration and inspection services.
