N+P has provided professional construction management and inspection services in association with both municipality’s and private development’s road reconstruction and asphalt paving programs. N+P has provided overall construction management and inspection staff that was the daily contact and facilitated communication and the transfer of information between the Owner and the Contractor, utility companies, and other agencies as required. The Inspector’s duties included the following:

• Collected and verify all asphalt tickets to check for compliance with the specifications,
• Monitored temperature of asphalt in paving machine;
• Checked asphalt thickness to achieve desired finished compacted thicknesses;
• Monitored and insured the contractor maintained the proper Work Zone Traffic Control;
• Complete Inspection Daily Reports (IDR’s);
• Review and approve Contractor quantities and claims

N+P has provided these services for the Town of Brookhaven, Town of Hempstead, Village of Amityville, Village of Kings Point and private communities including the Legend Beach and Yacht Club, Gracewood, Sunnylane of Bethpage, Woodbury Gardens, Villas at West Hills, Avalon Communities, and Fairways at North Hills.
