Pipe Stave Hollow Roadway and Stormwater Improvement

The Town of Brookhaven’s Pipe Stave Hollow Roadway and Stormwater Improvement Project will improve areas that adjoin the northeasterly side of Mt Sinai Harbor that are regularly inundated by cyclic tides. N+P with affiliate NPV provided engineering and environmental services. Work included raising a ½ mile section of Pipe Stave Hollow Road, restoring and stabilizing the existing adjacent shoreline, plantings/erosion control measures, mitigating stormwater pollution impacts, and utility coordination.
