Fuel cell power plants are part of a community distributed generation program, allowing the public to purchase power directly at reduced rates, and share in a cleaner energy source with fewer carbon emissions. Our MEP & Fire Protection department prepared design & site plans for hydrogen fuel cell installations at two locations, one in Setauket, NY and one in Holtsville, NY. Our MEP & Fire Protection team provided utility liaison services and coordination with PSEG Long Island, and National Grid for utility interconnection. The scope also included boundary and topographic surveys, site plans for permitting and compliance improvements with the Town and County, and right-of-way improvements and construction phase services.
