Michael A. Sciara, RA, LEED AP, N+P’s Senior Partner for Architecture, attended a press conference held last Friday for the John and Alice Coltrane Home located in Dix Hills, NY that received $1.75 Million in grant money from Suffolk County’s JumpStart and JumpSMART programs to support building restoration improvements including the construction of a recording studio and exhibit space. The Coltrane Home is dedicated to preserving and promoting the legacy of the two great African American musicians, John and Alice. Nelson + Pope will be performing design and surveying services; we are extremely excited for this project and our involvement!
