Site safety is essential. Projects must adhere to safety codes and regulations for proper operation during construction activities. For a current project, Hempstead Sanitary District No.6, the site safety fence as shown in the images was utilized to enclose the construction area and allowed for full operation and containment of the site during the construction.
The full project consists of the demolition of a one-story office area of the existing Administration/Repair Shop building for the Sanitary District. The proposed work includes the construction of a new 6000 sf two-story addition to the building for the administration offices and the full renovation of the entire existing building. Along with the work, an additional building on the site; housing the sanitation trucks (“Barn building”), will be undergoing a full renovation.
