In 1912 the Fireplace Literary Club was founded for the purpose of establishing a library for the residents of the hamlet of Brookhaven. The Brookhaven Public Library provides quality materials and services that serve the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community.
Nelson + Pope was retained by the Library to provide parking, pedestrian, stormwater, and beautification improvements. Services included securing necessary permits from the Town, preparation of bid documents and construction services for the installation of new formal parking, walkways, storm drainage and lighting on Beaver Dam Road and Library Lane.
