Civil Engineer: Transportation, Site Development and Sanitary Departments

Nelson & Pope is seeking entry and mid-level motivated professionals to fulfill a variety of civil engineering duties in the Transportation, Site Development and Sanitary Departments.

• Preparation of detailed design permit and construction drawings, along with specifications and estimate;
• Complete technical and design report documents;
• Assist with the preparation of Proposals;
• Occasional on-site observations to assist inspection staff;
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.

• 3-7 years’ minimum experience in civil/site projects;
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications;
• Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Civil3D is preferred;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills;
• Self -starter and ability to work as part of a team.

Civil / Site Engineer

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required with a strong desire to obtain a professional engineering license. Working experience and competency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D is also required. Land Surveying/Land Surveyor

Field equipment includes the latest RTK GPS, Laser Scanning, 1″ Robotic Total stations, digital levels, etc. Office software includes the latest release Autocadd Civil 3d, Carlson Survey, Microstation, Trimble Business center, etc. Knowledge of older Cadd versions are acceptable and will train on newer Cadd release. Entry Level IT Technician

Full-Time Position, 0 to 1 years of experience.

Requirements and Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of computer desktop systems. Troubleshoot and support end-users with logon, printing, file saving, network access, application problems. Assist in the troubleshooting of telecommunications and network equipment problems. Help perform system backups and recovery and install new software. Windows based environment, main production software is Office 365, Autodesk products, Esri products, and other engineering and GIS related applications.
